My family

I love being the wife of a medical student and mom of two toddlers. God's blessings are so rich and plentiful in my life, but it is not always easy. I have to rely on His grace for each day. I am a Christian and love God with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength.

I love going for walks with friends or the kids, trying new recipes, enjoying Pinot Noir over dinner, making hair clips and bows, and honestly, talking about birth and babies. I have run a half-marathon a couple of years ago, but I'm definitely not a runner. I have a B.S. in Biochemistry from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (our all-time favorite place to live). I have worked in several industries including biotech, production laboratories, and academic agricultural research. I love my current job(s) best!
Andy and I will celebrate 9 years of marriage in June 2012 and have lived in the San Gabriel valley for 1 1/2 years. He is a second year medical student at USC and hopes to go into orthopedics. He is co-class president and was honored on Dean's list. He's a smartie. And a hottie. He is also on an Air Force scholarship for med school.

Titus is 1 and loves trying to climb stairs and put stuff in his mouth. Yeah, it is busy trying to watch him all the time. He is a sensitive little soul and tries to keep up with his sister. He loves when Daddy throws him up in the air when he gets home.

Annaliese is 3 years old and never stops talking. Even when she's playing alone, she is usually monologuing with various stuffed animals and her blankets. Her favorite activities are watering the plants in the back yard, "camping" and reading in her little pink tent, and smothering her brother with hugs and kisses.
I love how they have blonde hair like Andy did when he was little. Before Annaliese was born, Andy being a Biology major was convinced that our kids would have dark hair since it is genetically dominant. Anyway, just funny :)  They are 22 months apart and share a room. They are so precious together (most of the time).
Hopefully you'll get to meet them all.
